Panasonic introduced a wide array of new products Wednesday, including multiple VIERA plasma TVs, Blu-ray players and home theater systems. The products, most of which were on display at CES in January, are scheduled to appear over the coming months.
The company announced that three VIERA series, the Z1 series, the V10 series and the G10 series, which will have the VIERA CAST video service offered for the first time. The Z1 is the flagship plasma for 2009, including the 54-inch TC-54Z1, which will arrive this summer. Also new for plasma is a 50-inch model of the V10, which will arrive in May with more to come later in the summer. The G10 series, meaanwhile, will debut four new models this spring and summer.
On the LCD side, Panasonic will up its VIERA model count from 5 to 11 this year, with new models to come in the G1, S1 and X1 series.
