Panasonic Launches Olympic Campaign
Panasonic on Tuesday announced a national marketing campaign geared towards the start of this summer’s Olympics. The campaign will include a national truck tour, contests, and appearances by past Olympic Gold Medalists.
Panasonic’s Viera TVs are the official HDTVs of the Beijing Olympics, while Panasonic is an official worldwide partner of the games. The announcement was timed for 100 days prior to the opening of the games.
The truck tour, a rebranding of the existing Living in High Definition Tour, will feature autograph signings at some locations by prominent Olympians such as swimmer Mark Spitz (1972) and gymnast Kerri Strug (1996.)
