Panasonic to Demonstrate Tru2way
Panasonic this week announced that it will demonstrate its first-ever tru2way-equipped plasma HDTV at the NCTA Cable Show in Washington this week.
The demonstration, which also includes the company's High Definition DVR set-top box, is being held in conjunction with Comcast, which will provide the signal.
“Panasonic takes great pride in leading the way in the development of tru2way technology,” Panasonic CTO Dr. Paul Liao said as part of the announcement. “In October 2008, Panasonic partnered with Comcast to announce the arrival of the first tru2way VIERA HDTVs at retail in Chicago and Denver, and officially declared the tru2way platform active in those cities.
