Krell Industries announced the hiring of Coby Owen to its sales force. Owen will work directly with national sales manager Randy Bingham to bring Krell’s Evolution Series to new dealers while maintaining existing accounts. Coby joins Krell’s sales force after leaving his previous position as A/V Sales Manager at Magnolia HiFi in Everett, Washington.
Vernon Irvin has been named chief marketing officer, XM Satellite Radio. Irvin will report to Nate Davis, President and COO for the company. His appointment is effective November 14. Irvin will oversee XM’s strategic marketing efforts with responsibility for a number of operating groups, including media and brand marketing; retail, direct and partnership marketing; and, marketing operations, which includes service offerings, pricing, retention and market research.
ELAN Home Systems announced the appointment of Adam Griffin as the company’s new western regional technical associate. In his new role, Griffin will serve and provide support to the company’s western dealers and installers located in California, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, the Hawaiian Islands and Western Canada. He is primary responsibilities will be to assist ELAN Dealers with the Company’s line of products in all technical matters including new product training, system design and on-site technical support as the needs arise. Griffin will also conduct regional classes for new Dealers and Installers on the proper installation, set-up and programming of ELAN systems.
