BBE Sound Inc., a developer of sound technologies for the professional audio and consumer electronic markets, announce three appointments in its licensing division. Yoshi Asahi, is promoted to vice president technology, licensing division; James Lucas has joins as vice president marketing, licensing division and Chris Locke joins as communications director.
Maxell Corporation of America named Blake Parton its new accessories product manager. Prior to joining Maxell, Parton was sales manager for Osem USA, a wholesale food products company and also was a marketing executive for a health care provider. He began his marketing and sales career as an account manager for Procter and Gamble and was based in Ohio.
Tripp Lite, a manufacturer of power protection equipment, announced that Salim Ling has joined the company as head of engineering. In this position, he will be responsible for all technical aspects of Tripp Lite’s product design and development. Ling holds degrees in electrical engineering as well as an MBA, and has served as vice president/general manager at Accton Technologies, US Robotics and 3Com Corporation. As Vice President Asia Operation, he led 3Com’s formation of a joint venture in China with Huawei Technologies for the development of IP network switches and routers.
