Case Logic named Christine Morris to the role of vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). She joins Case Logic from Adelphia Communications, Inc. where she was vice president of finance and treasurer. Hired by its turnaround management team in 2003, Morris oversaw multiple functions, including cash management, treasury operations, capital markets and risk management. She also reorganized the company’s treasury group and spearheaded the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and controls in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley.
Norcent has added Rick Stans as executive vice president of sales & marketing. Effective immediately, Stans will begin to further expand Norcent’s consumer electronics sales efforts. Prior to joining Norcent, Rick had 22 years of increasing levels of responsibility at Hitachi, most recently as their Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He was the highest-ranking American in the company.
AMD announced that Mario Rivas has been promoted to executive vice president of Computing Products Group (CPG). In this role, Rivas will be responsible for driving the development, strategy and management for AMD’s broad and growing portfolio of consumer and commercial microprocessor solutions. Rivas will report to the Office of the CEO, comprised of Hector Ruiz, chairman and chief executive officer and Dirk Meyer, president and chief operating officer.
