Da-Lite Screen Company appointed Wendy Long to the position of director of marketing. She will be responsible for all of Da-Lite’s international and domestic marketing activities for both the commercial and home theater markets. Long joined Da-Lite in 1994 and has held a number of positions within the company’s sales and marketing department. Most recently, she held the position of product manager.
Kenwood USA Corporation appointed two new postions recently. First, Shari Christian joins as marketing services manager. She comes to Kenwood with a 25-year background in marketing support, having most recently worked for GE Security, and prior to that, Unisys Systems. Second, Aron Demers takes on the position of director of sales for the car electronics division. He has 17 years of sales management experience, most recently serving as western regional sales manager for Audiovox, for over ten years. Prior to that, Demers held eastern regional sales management positions at both Coustic Car Audio, and Phillips Sound Labs.
LG Electronics USA announced the appointment of Allan Jason to vice president of marketing for consumer electronics. Allan will be responsible for leading the company’s U.S. Consumer Electronics (Digital Display and Digital Media) product marketing and product management for flat panel displays, home audio/video and computer monitors and optical drives, among others key product areas. Previously he spent 20 years at Sony Electronics where he held various key sales and marketing positions, most recently vice president for Sony’s Portable Audio and Mobile Electronics Divisions since 2004.
