Hitachi Hires Norton
Hitachi America announced that hired Paul Norton has joined the company’s Ubiquitous Platform Systems Division, which focuses on providing advanced digital products to businesses and consumers. Norton joins the company as director of sales, Eastern Zone and Buying Groups.
With more than 25 years experience in sales and relationship management, Norton most recently served as executive director, sales for the Americas for Hannspree where he recruited and trained regional sales directors and secured premium product placements with department stores, national CE/IT retailers and specialty chains. Prior to Hannspree, Norton worked as the sales director, specialty retail group for HP. Norton graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in Business.
Sharp Promotes Crandell
Sharp has named Mark Crandell associate vice president of channel marketing and and will act as a liaison between the AV sales and marketing divisions. Crandell will collaborate with sales and marketing management on the development of sales plans, promotions, quotas, and ROI metrics for specific accounts and or channels. He’ll also continue to develop relationships with account level management while working with the sales team to review monthly forecasts. Prior to this, Crandell was the associate vice president.
