Nintendo Nabs Dunaway
Nintendo announced Thursday that Cammie Dunaway, formerly the chief marketing officer for Yahoo!, has joined the company as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Dunaway will start Nov. 5
The new executive will replace Reggie Fils-Aime, who was promoted from the position to president and COO in the spring of 2006. Dunaway will work from Redwood Shores, Calif.
Kenwood Promotes Hoag
Kenwood USA Corp. announced last week that it has promoted Dave Hoag as its new Director of Sales for car electronics. Hoag had earlier served as Western regional sales manager. Hoag previously worked for Sirius Satellite Radio and with Naeseth & Solaas.
Jung to Vudu
The on-demand video provider Vudu said earlier this week that it has named Mark Jung as its new CEO. A 20-year technology veteran, Jung was co-founder and CEO of the Internet company IGN Entertainment, which was sold to News Corp. in 2005. At that point, Jung became chief operating officer for all of News Corp.’s online content, including MySpace, FoxSports.com, and AmericanIdol.com.
