Petra Adds Power Tools to DIY Product Lineup
Consumer electronics accessory distributor Petra Industries announced that it has added a new line of power tools to its ever-growing tools category. Genesis Tools, manufactured by Richpower Industries, Inc., is an 18-year-old power tool company based out of Williamston, South Carolina. All of the company's electric power tools and battery chargers are approved for safe use by one of the major regulatory agencies in the U.S. or Canada (including EL, CSA, and ETL).
Genesis Tools products are designed in the U.S. and manufactured by partner factories in China.
In their statement, Petra said the decision to bring Genesis Tools into the mix was right in line with their strategy to expand the distributor's DIY offerings.
"We've been looking for a great tool line that's ideal for hobbyists and light to medium-duty users," Tate Morgan, Petra President, said in a statement. "Genesis products consistently get rave reviews and end users find them sturdy and a great value for the price. They definitely meet a need and provide great bang for the buck."
Genesis's product lineup ranges from handheld to benchtop to cordless, and all are affordably priced alternatives to professional-grade tools. The target audience for these products, with those previous points in mind, include DIY homeowners and renters. The full lineup of Genesis Tools products is available through the Petra website.
