Petra Education, the educational division of wholesale distributor Petra Industries, announced that it has signed an agreement to partner with NACSCORP for distribution within the college store market.
NACSCORP is a subsidiary of the National Association of College Stores that helps education retailers compete, providing books, merchandise and retail services to nearly 3,400 college stores.
“Staying current with a rapidly changing technology accessory business can be daunting to the independent retail buyer,” said Petra President Tate Morgan. “Combining our experience and product knowledge with NACSCORP’s channel expertise will make it easier for college stores to manage accessory categories and simplify their assortment choices.”
Under the new agreement, Petra Education and NACSCORP will create planograms incorporating brands from Petra’s vendor partners, enabling college stores to purchase an expanded assortment of products and customize their offerings.
Categories to be covered under this partnership include smartphone and tablet cases, power accessories, headphones, earbuds, batteries, gaming accessories, and accessories for Apple products.
