Pioneer Debuts new Headphones and AV Receivers
It was a busy St. Patty’s Day for home entertainment products manufacturer Pioneer Home Entertainment. The company offered up a couple of announcements introducing two new products into their lineup of headphones and AV receivers.
First up, the new SE-MHR5 Hi-Res Stereo Headphones. Available now for $299.99, the SE-MHR5 will be on display this weekend at the SoCal CanJam event for consumer AV fans and audiophiles. Pioneer explained that the headphones are backed by a “robust driver” that captures a wide 7Hz-50kHz frequency range. They also feature a lightweight Copper-Clad Aluminum ire voice coil that allows for crystal clear, hi-res audio to be delivered throughout that frequency range. The SE-MHR5 comes with both the standard 3.5mm cable for headphone jacks as well as a 2.5mm, 4-pole balanced cable for users who “enjoy the greater signal separation available for balanced output,” Pioneer said.
