Pioneer Introduces Global Campaign
Pioneer Electronics on Tuesday revealed its new marketing campaign for the Kuro flat-panel TVs. Complete with a new logo, the campaign is aimed at nothing less than reinventing Pioneer’s entire brand, with a focus on appealing to higher-end, more tech-savvy customers.
Based off the slogan “seeing and hearing like never before,” the new campaign uses black-and-white print and television advertising to appeal to the “discerning entertainment junkie,” as the company now calls its ideal customer.
The change was announced prior to the start of the CEDIA Expo in Denver. The Kuro line of Plasma TVs were originally introduced in early August.
