Toshiba Enters AAC With SD
At CES, Toshiba announced its next-generation digital audio player that supports the Secure Digital solid state media format that it co-developed with Panasonic and SanDisk. The MEA210 will offer a new twist: the support of Dolby's AAC digital audio format that attests to provide better quality sound than MP3 in a smaller file size. The player will ship with 32 MB of internal memory and an expansion slot for an SD card. The MEA210 will be available in April for a suggested retail price of $249.
