3001 AD has launched the Trimersion First Person Shooter game accessory, compatible with Xbox, Playstation, Game Cube, PCs and Macs. The gun, adapter and virtual reality headset are designed to wirelessly immerse the player in an FPS, brining theme park tech into the home.
While wearing the wireless headset, the player controls the view of the game based on where he or she is looking while headphones deliver stereo sound. The wireless gun has dual-triggers and is programmable for different games. Without the need for drivers (only an adapter for PlayStation and Xbox), gamers can literally plug and play.
Expect the Trimersion to drop in a couple of months for around $395.
