Polk Launches "Listen to the Music" Campaign
Polk this week launched a major multimedia campaign called "Listen to the Music." Based around the Doobie Brothers song of the same name and in conjunction with the brand's 40th anniversary, the campaign will feature a social media contest, a touring mobile recording studio and a collaboration with the viral video band Walk Off the Earth.
Polk has called for bands across all genres to contribute covers of the song.
"This campaign is by far Polk's largest and most exciting undertaking in its 40 years in audio, and all elements are intended to support and celebrate the independent artist who shares our love of listening to music," Blair Tripodi, Chief Marketing Officer for Sound United, said as part of the announcement.
