New York Tristate region PowerHouse Alliance distributor member Ui Supplies has announced that its seventh annual BBQ Bash and Trade Show will take place Aug. 8 at its flagship Plainview, N.Y. location, and has opened up registration for the event to dealers, industry affiliates and media.
The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a variety of demonstrations, giveaways, and food. More than 60 audio, video, security, networking, smart home, tools and accessories manufacturers are attending, offering demos and exclusive discounts. Guests can also try their luck to win one of 10 raffle prizes from Ui Supplies and vendors, including Yankees tickets, TVs, and more.
Product demonstrations are slated to include a Samsung 8K TV, an LG OLED TV and a short-throw laser projector as well as a large display of KEF architectural and wireless speakers. Other featured products will include surveillance cameras from Hikvision, and new fiber optic products from TechLogix. JVC will be on-site doing a projector shootout comparing its DLA-NX7 Native 4K projector to other brands, and, for the first time, DMF Lighting will be installed and on display.
Also available for attendees to experience is Ui Supplies’s newly updated Dolby Atmos theater room featuring Fortress seating, an LG short-throw laser projector and a Da-Lite 96-inch short throw screen, run by Yamaha AVENTAGE A/V receiver and KEF surround sound speakers. Vanco International’s ‘Party Room’ returns for the second year and is equipped with Beale Street Audio speakers, demos of Vanco’s Evolution EVO-IP HDMI over IP System and a large display of its extenders, and new 8K and fiber cables.
“We look forward to the show each year to celebrate the great relationships we have with our dealers, and our vendors who support us,” said Alan Malowitz of Ui Supplies. “Our annual bash gives dealers the unique opportunity for one-on-one time with manufacturer reps to ask questions, demo, and learn about the hottest products of the year, and take advantage of show-only deals.”
