Obama, Steve Jobs Meet
President Obama visited Silicon Valley Thursday and had a one-on-one meeting with Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
According to the Washington Post, Obama and Jobs discussed energy independence, competitiveness and education.
The president also spoke at a Democratic Party fundraiser hosted by Google executive Marissa Mayer, according to Business Insider.
Obama wrote in his 2006 book, "The Audacity of Hope," about an eye-opening visit to Google's headquarters when he was a member of the U.S. Senate. Obama and Jobs had previously met during the 2008 presidential campaign.
