Netbooks have turned out to be much more than a flash in the pan, with sales increasing five percent this year. Put another way, about 11 percent of your customers plan to buy a netbook this year. Netbooks are not only strong sellers that fuel a decent amount of accessories sales, they represent incremental sales since most users view the devices as a complement, not a replacement, for laptops.

- Netbooks on the rise. The percentage of online consumers who own a netbook has increased from 10 percent last year to 15 percent this year. 11 percent of consumers plan to buy a netbook in 2010.
