While things remain bleak in the retail landscape this holiday season, there remains demand for consumer electronics- and in fact, a full third of customers say that they are either planning to shop for- or hoping to receive CE products for the holidays.
That's according to a survey, the "Consumer Electronic Pricing Trends & Forecast," released this week by PriceGrabber.com. It also found that consumers run the risk of missing out on deals the longer they wait to do their holiday shopping.
The survey also found that the Nintendo Wii was ranked the most popular product based on its data, followed by the Canon EOS Rebel XSi DSLR, the "Wii Fit" game and Sony's BDP-S350 Blu-ray player. In fact, the entire top ten consisted of CE products with the exception of the Ugg Australia "Classic Short" boot.
