PRO Group Launches Training Initiative
The PRO Group announced Thursday that it has launched a new strategic training initiative for dealers, with the help of the Consumer Electronics University. The program, which will include training in “key management skills, retail marketing, as well as product and sales presentations,” began as a pilot project earlier this year and will gradually be expanded throughout 2008.
“As we begin to see growth rates mature in certain categories, it has never been more critical to optimize the attachment of audio to video,” the buying group’s executive director, Dave Workman, said as part of the announcement. “High quality audio maximizes consumers’ enjoyment of the high definition experience, and enables our retailers to proactively manage the market basket of customers in their store.”
