Puro Sound Labs Relaunches JuniorJams Kids Headphones
Kid-friendly headphone brand, Puro Sound Labs, has introduced a revamped edition of its JuniorJams wireless headphones. Designed to protect young ears from noise-induced hearing loss, JuniorJams caps the volume of its $49.99 headphones at 85 decibels—low enough for safe listening up to eight hours per day.
“Preventing noise induced hearing loss while delivering best in class sound performance is our fundamental objective,” says Alex Silverman, Executive Vice President of Puro Sound Labs. “We are thrilled about the JuniorJams relaunch, as it will have a profound impact on our ability to put more safe headphones on kids’ ears around the world.”
An astounding 1.2 billion teenagers and young adults are at risk of hearing loss due to unsafe personal audio devices, according to the World Health Organization. In designing the JuniorJams headphones, Puro Sound Labs wanted to combat this issue while also providing superior sound. With Balanced Response Curve, kids won’t have to blast the volume for better bass, treble and vocal clarity. The product also delivers 87% ambient noise isolation to block out surrounding sounds.
JuniorJams’ lightweight, padded design is comfortable enough for kids to wear on long car rides, and the battery is able to keep up as well with 22 hours of playtime. The daisy-chain feature lets kids share their favorite content with a friend simultaneously from a single device.
“We are expanding our product line so more families can afford to safely equip their kids with headphones that offer our Puro Sound audio performance and safe volume limiting,” says Silverman. “In designing the JuniorJams we rolled up everything a parent would need and a child would want from a headphone. Safety, durability, ease of use, comfort, cool style and awesome sound help these headphones keep both the front seat and the back seat happy.”
