Q&A: Jeremy Burkhardt, CEO, Soundcast Systems
CR: Would that affect sound attributes, or would it not make much of a difference in performance?
Burkhardt: That’s the trick: to take a three-foot-tall box or a cylinder and make it pretty. And we’re having some real good early ideas and discussions, and even prototyping rapidly. We’re making some cool products, that, when it’s all said and done, we’ll have a line of the most beautiful outdoor speakers that are wireless with DSP, battery-powered, and multiple amplifiers built into each speaker.
CR: What markets are you aiming for that the company has not aggressively pursued? And what’s the game plan to establish Soundcast products as must-haves in those markets?
