RadioShack Offers Free Mobile Device Support
RadioShack announced Wednesday that it has launched a Mobile Product Support service for customers purchasing a smartphone or tablet from any of its stores.
The support is offered for 24-hour phone, live-chat or email support along with the purchase of any mobile device from RadioShack. A RadioShack support app, in addition, is available for Android devices and will come to iOS devices early next year, the company said.
"RadioShack is pleased to offer the comprehensive Mobile Product Support package at no cost to further enhance the value we deliver to our customers throughout the life of their mobile device," Scott Young, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for RadioShack, said as part of the announcement. "As devices become increasingly complex, this program gives us the capability to ensure we offer our customers a relevant set of services that supports them and their specific needs."
