Vaughan Named CEDIA Chairman
Randy Vaughan has been named the new chairman of CEDIA, heading an executive committee that also includes vice chairman Randy Stearns, Treasurer Gordon Van Zuiden and Secretary Federico Bausone, the group announced Saturday during the Electronics Lifestyles Awards ceremony at CEDIA Expo.
The new chairman will serve a two-year term and replaces the departing Ken Erdmann. CEDIA CEO Utz Baldwin praised Erdmann upon his departure, because he has "always fought for the little guy."
Vaughan, founder of AE Systems Home Automation & Entertainment in Portsmouth, Va., became a CEDIA member in 2003.
