Stewart Filmscreen has a long and proud history of innovating in the projection screen space, supported by a few Academy Awards they’ve collected along the way. The company, which has dozens of different product families and offerings for the home theater consumer, plans to continue innovating with its screens, but, for the moment, they’ve shifted their focus to creating a better, more-streamlined home theater screen shopping experience. The result there is a completely refreshed version of the Stewart Filmscreen website that offers shoppers a whole host of new options, tools, content, descriptions, and more—all aimed at giving the customer every ounce of information they could possibly want when searching for the perfect projection screen.
But, where the website succeeds is in offering all of that information and a very digestible, easy-to-understand format. The new site is filled with quick-access menus that make navigating the pages a breeze. And the information on site is presented in an impactful, informative way, letting the consumer know information like the most common applications for how the various screens are used. Images throughout the site are big and bold as well, which is a much better user experience than scrolling over tiny thumbnails that expand but still don’t show you the whole image. And once a product is selected, the consumer can get a quote rather quickly using Stewart’s Configurator Price Quote (CPQ) tool.
"No matter if a customer is ordering a screen from our value-added preconfigured Cima series or a custom-made screen from one of our 35 other product families, each and every screen is meticulously handcrafted by one of our professional artisans. There's no one else that delivers the seamless quality or the level of customization that we do," Mary Stewart, CEO and owner of Stewart Filmscreen, said in a statement announcing the new site. "This website relaunch reflects our relentless attention to detail by delivering the best customer experience at every step of the process. Everything needed to make a screen decision will now be offered right on our website, truly making it as easy as possible to do business with us."
Of course, the website was built with dealers in mind as well. The CPQ tool, which is currently in beta mode, will replace the company’s Web Screen Assistant. Stewart explained that it allows the dealer to personally configure a 2D scalable drawing of any screen, create and export CAD drawings, and get a personalized quote that can be used as a sign-off for an immediate build. In the end, the new tool will help to streamline and expedite the ordering process for the dealer—no matter how customized the build ends up being.
"Not all screens are created equal, and no two environments are the same. That is why we offer so many options, why our process is application-driven, and why every product is custom-made," added Stewart. "Our screens are produced at the very highest level and offer superb build quality and unrivaled performance. Now, our website truly reflects the same high quality as our screens. All these tools now make it possible to quickly see and select the perfect screen solution for any application while also delivering the highest attention to image uniformity, color accuracy, and resolution preservation of even the most advanced projectors on the market."
The new website is live now and ready for your perusal.
