A new report from PMA Research, an industry analyst firm that specializes in market data for the display industry, found that Epson America projectors maintained their position as the top-selling North American projector in 2015.
According to the firm’s report, Epson grew its overall North American market share to 48 percent in units in 2015, which represented a five-point increase year-over-year. Further, 2015 was the sixth year in a row that Epson saw revenue growth, and it maintained its number-on position in terms of revenue share at 34 percent of the total market, a four-point increase over the previous year—the largest share growth for any manufacturer.
"Image quality is the number one priority for projector buyers in business, education and home theater markets," Richard Miller, director of Projectors at Epson America, Inc, said in a statement. "Epson's focus on delivering uncompromising image quality via our 3LCD technology means we consistently provide users with big, vibrant images, high color brightness and superior readability. Our continuous growth and high market share in each of these markets is a direct result of our product quality and the strong support of Epson's channel partners."
