Millennials have already been dubbed the lazy, self-entitled, and trophy generation by their elders. Add “most irresponsible” to that list as well—at least when it comes to how they handle their tech devices. That’s according to a new survey by Protect Your Bubble, a company that provides protection plans for consumer electronics. The company conducted a survey that used an interactive quiz to gauge consumers' behaviors based on hypothetical situations, and it found that Millennials accounted for 35 percent of all people deemed “irresponsible” by the quiz.
The online quiz taken by more than 900 people found that consumers “do not always make the best decisions when it comes to using their electronic devices, home appliances, or when they travel,” Protect Your Bubble said. Each participant received a score based on their responses to a 10-question quiz, and 63 percent of all participants received a score that indicated they were on the “irresponsible side of life.”
The results of the survey were published in an infographic.
