BlackBerry Debuts a New Curve
Less than a week after announcing the new BlackBerry Torch smartphone, Research in Motion Monday revealed the second phone to offer the BlackBerry 6 OS, the BlackBerry Curve 3G. The new Curve is said by the company to be "BlackBerry 6-ready."
The device, sporting a full-QWERTY keyboard, built-in GPS and Wi-Fiworks on 3G networks around the world. It also offers 256 MB of RAM.
“The majority of people in the worldwide mobile phone market have yet to buy their first smartphone and the BlackBerry Curve 3G is designed to provide an extremely attractive and accessible choice that will help convince many of them to make the leap,” Mike Lazaridis, President and Co-CEO of Research In Motion, said as part of the announcement.
