This year the Definitive is trying some new tactics as well. It increased its advertising budget by 50 percent, creating ads for the radio as well increasing the breadth of its direct mailing campaigns.
Ormiston, now in his 22nd year in the business, says he is able to maintain his business well, because he still loves it.
"The trick for me is that you still have to have a passion for it. I have a passion for being around the gear," he says, "I think you have to want to continue to invest your money and your time, and take risks."
