Retailer hhgregg is planning to continue its expansion into Florida, with a half dozen more stores in the Tampa Bay area by the holidays, the St. Petersburg Times reported Friday.

The new stores include the chain's first-ever incursion into the Tampa-St. Petersburg market, the company told the newspaper, although it has not yet officially announced locations.
