$20,000 Best Buy Theft in Florida
A group of "professional" thieves stole around $20,000 in merchandise from a Best Buy location in the Orlando area. According to that city's Fox affiliate, which obtained police video of the theft, the theft took place in the middle of the night. The men broke into the store, ran through and grabbed phones, iPods and other products, and left quickly.
Target Employee Arrested in String of Thefts
A woman who worked at a Target store in the Kansas City area and her accomplice have been arrested in a string of thefts that took place over 18 months. The Kansas City Star reported that the employee stole items by removing them from the store's inventory by marking them "defective." The items stolen, which added up to $120,000 in value, including electronics, household products, vacuum cleaners and dog food.
Actor Accused of Apple Store Attack
Actor/comedian Richard Belzer, who stars on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," was questioned earlier this month after an Apple store employee in New York said he attacked her.
