Round Room LLC Makes Several New Leadership Appointments
Round Room LLC, the largest Verizon Authorized Retailer in the U.S., today announces several new executive leadership appointments. Round Room leads and invests in companies serving the wireless industry and operates 1,160 TCC and Wireless Zone stores across 41 states.
Jason Buck, formerly the vice president of marketing at TCC, has been promoted to executive vice president of west and south direct sales. In his new role, Buck will oversee sales for direct wireless business in Round Room’s west and southeast markets. Buck joined the TCC team in 2012, leading marketing efforts and overseeing the strategic development, implementation and execution for more than 900 TCC retail locations. He also led a full-service marketing team and is skilled in customer-relationship management (CRM), digital marketing, advertising, merchandising, customer experience, loyalty and retention, analytics and public relations.
Carla Rodecap will now oversee human resources, compensation and training for both TCC and Wireless Zone as the executive vice president of people. In her previous role as vice president of human resources, Rodecap worked alongside the chief legal officer and is skilled in talent management, recruiting, coaching, performance management and leadership development. She has been with the company since 2014.
Mike Trimble was named executive vice president of east direct sales and will be responsible for overseeing sales for direct wireless business in the company’s Great Lakes and east markets. Trimble previously served as TCC’s vice president of sales in the Great Lakes region after joining the team in 2008. His 25 years of wireless industry experience have included dealer development, operational leadership and retail sales.
Ken Hearld will serve the Round Room team as the executive vice president of finance, overseeing the financial controls and reporting requirements of Round Room LLC, while providing the analytical and performance tracking tools/insights to support the direct and indirect TCC and Wireless Zone sales organizations. Hearld joined the TCC team in 2013 and has served as the corporate controller, treasurer, and most recently the vice president of finance.
Wade Alter was promoted to executive vice president of Wireless Zone and Dealers Indirect Sales, where he will oversee sales for all indirect wireless business including Wireless Zone and the TCC Dealer Division. Previously, Alter served as senior vice president of operations for TCC, managing operations for TCC Legacy stores and sales and operations for TCC Dealer Divisions. He’s been with TCC for the past 20 years, continuously progressing to more accountable roles within the organization.
These employees have all played important roles in growing Round Room to a $2 billion company with more than 2,300 employees across the nation and an expanding group of portfolio companies.
