Russound, a leader in multiroom audio, today offered details about its presence at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe, which will be held at RAI Amsterdam, February 6-9.
“From ISE’s first show in Switzerland 14 years ago, Russound has been at every one of the expos,” said Charlie Porritt, CEO, Russound. “This year, we are evolving our tradeshow strategy to focus more on our partners, giving them an opportunity to display their products alongside ours at the Russound stand on the main floor, in addition to select other locations around the show.”
As part of its new approach, Russound will share its stand, #1-M60 in the main hall, with Key Digital. Featured products will include the MBX-PRE preamplifier and MBX-AMP amplifier, the first of the new MBX streaming audio system products. Both products are scheduled to ship in the summer of 2018.
Russound designed the 50 watts-per-channel MBX-AMP to be the cornerstone of a decentralized, distributed audio solution for installers who want to offer the most up-to-date streaming media options to their clients.
The MBX-AMP is a 50 WPC zone amplifier is a unique solution designed to allow sharing of any multiroom audio speakers with a local TV. Its Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet connections allow for quick, reliable installation, and the addition of Tidal and Deezer to Russound’s current streaming assortment makes a compelling combination of services.
The companion MBX-PRE is a preamplifier version of MBX-AMP, designed to work with any brand of amplifier or receiver. Both models feature built-in support for high resolution audio, Bluetooth, Chromecast on board, Apple AirPlay, and voice control via Amazon Alexa, and includes TIDAL, Deezer, and much more.
Added Porritt: “The MBX-AMP development in particular was heavily influenced by feedback from our international partners.”
In addition to stand #1-M60, Russound products will be visible in stands in two other halls, including Near (Stand 7-S229), featuring a live demo of Russound’s flagship the MCA-88X controller, and Wall-Smart (Stand 2-E90), which will showcase new flush-mount options for Russound’s core user interfaces.
“By sharing space with partners and expanding our presence to three halls, Russound will be more visible while giving us the time and resources to focus our attention on our customers, both on and off the show floor,” said Porritt.
