Samsung Launches iPhone-Like Product
On the day Apple is expected to introduce version 2.0 of the iPhone, Samsung has unveiled a phone of its own that bears more than a passing resemblance to Steve Jobs’ famous gadget.
The i900 Omnia, according to Reuters, features a touchscreen interface, music capabilities, and a similar size and shape to the iPhone. The phone runs Windows Mobile and also features a camera.
It is set for unveiling at a trade fair in Singapore later later this month and release in Europe and Asia this summer. U.S. release and pricing have not yet been announced.
