Samsung Opens New York Display Space

On September 22 Samsung opened the doors to its new Manhattan showroom, The Samsung Experience, to journalists, analysts and guests. Located in the Time Warner Center at The Shops at Columbus Circle, the 10,000-square-foot gallery officially opens to the public on Sept 23.
The Samsung Experience is not a store, rather it's more like a large booth at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with interactive displays of current and future products, lifestyle vignettes and information. At the opening, the Samsung North American Vice President of marketing, Peter Weedfald, noted "There is no better place for the Samsung Experience than New York City, the place that inspired the world." He added, "The timing is right for Samsung to take a leadership role in bringing digital convergence to consumers."
