Samsung President and CMO to Keynote at CES 2016
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that Dr. WP Hong, President and Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Electronics, will deliver a keynote address during CES 2016 in Las Vegas. The keynote is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 7 in the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom.
At CES 2016, Dr. Hong plans to provide attendees a look into Samsung’s process in turning the Internet of Things (IoT) vision into reality, focusing on tangible solutions and products in areas most closely related to consumers’ everyday lives, CEA said. Dr. Hong’s presentation will, of course, have a special emphasis on Samsung IoT data security and customer-centric mobile payment solutions.
"We are thrilled to welcome Dr. WP Hong, an established IT and mobile industry leader, to the keynote stage at CES 2016," Gary Shapiro, President and CEO, CEA, said in a statement. "With an array of products including televisions, mobile phones, tablets and much more, Samsung amazes at each CES with its innovative products spanning the entire tech ecosystem, and we look forward to hearing Dr. Hong's expert opinion."
