In order to do what is not being done, you must bring yourself to think in ways that you have never thought. You know what you are currently doing is either not working or will one day soon no longer work, and by then it will be too late.
Change can come from anyone or anywhere, so don’t limit your scope when exploring the possibilities. Be truthful and share your concerns with everyone all the while soliciting their help and ideas. Remember, “There is no limit to what can be achieved, as long as you do not care who gets the credit,” Laing Burns, Jr. once said. One of my other favorite comments on this theme is by Winston Churchill who explained, “Success is not a matter of chance, but of choice.”
Choosing not to change is a guaranteer of failure. I’ll take credit for that one.
