Those are just a handful of products CE manufacturers will be showcasing at CES in January. While there doesn't seem to be any category killer products on the way, CE retailers and specialty dealers should find plenty of products and solutions to help differentiate their shelves, offer their installers more scalable opportunities, and drive store and online traffic with lower-cost products that still provide plenty of value.
Manufacturers, however, are releasing products at this year's show that address a particular trend. During the last year, more retailers have given their installation crews the power to stock their trucks with practical, affordable products that offer true solutions to real problems. While those products are often difficult to sell without a full demonstration, the sale becomes much easier after an installer enters the consumer's home.
