Apple Calls Secret Service on Artist
A New York artist programmed computers at two Apple Stores in New York to take a picture ever minute- and the store called the U.S. Secret Service on him. According to Mashable, artist Kyle McDonald undertook the project in order to "capture people’s expressions as they stare at computers." Secret Service agents later appeared at his home and confiscated his computers, after serving him with a search warrant for computer fraud.
Five Arrested in RadioShack Robbery
Five people were arrested after an attempted smash-and-grab robbery of a St. Louis RadioShack. According to KMOV, police recognized the thieves' car and later found it in another part of the city, arresting all five suspects.
Kidnapping Foiled at Best Buy
A man attempting the kidnapping of a two-year-old boy at a Maryland Best Buy was subdued by the boy's father. According to the Germantown Patch, the alleged kidnapper has been charged with kidnapping, abduction and assault.
