Sennheiser has unveiled a new update of the PXC 250 Travel Headphone, the PXC 250-II. The foldable new product boasts the same NoiseGard technology as its predecessor, but the NoiseGard requires only one AAA battery to run for 50 hours, making the product slimmer and lighter.
The padding and design often negates the need for the NoiseGard, increasing battery life. But for those times when vehicle engines disrupt listening, the NoiseGard's tiny microphones pick up ambient sounds and electronically produce anti-noise to cancel them out.
Other new features include integrated volume control, a 6 dB higher sound pressure level and more bass suitability for higher quality across genre. The PXC 250-II also boasts a double mono jack for inflight entertainment, a 2-year warranty, steel reinforced headband all in a carrying pouch big enough to include most small MP3 devices.
