SI Expands Low-Voltage Motorized Screen Tech to Entire Line
Screen Innovations (SI), which first introduced low-voltage motorized screens to the CEDIA channel two years ago, has expanded this motor technology into its entire line of motorized screens.
Motorized screens powered by structured cable are widely favored by integrators worldwide, says SI, thanks to their global standardization. Additionally, SI’s new low-voltage offerings are compatible to any type of low-voltage wire through JANUS, an ultra-high-density 8 shade power and control hub.
SI also has announced that it has expanded the maximum size of its motorized screens up to16 feet wide by 10 feet tall, combining Slate XL, which was developed from the company’s Black Diamond technology, with the new large motorized offering to deliver repeatable, reliable results in large environments with ambient light.
To complete its push for global standards, SI has added Zigbee 3.0 to its Solo line of ultra-compact screens. SI’s Zigbee 3.0 wireless offering is a complete ecosystem for secure multi-way communication over a self-healing mesh network.
