SIRAS' Junger Scales Mt. McKinley
SIRAS President Peter Junger has reached new heights- literally.
The industry veteran and longtime climbing enthusiast reached the top of Mt. McKinley, the highest point in the United States, on July 8, the company announced. The summit of the mountain, in Alaska, is 20,320 feet above sea level.
Junger participated in the expedition along with the Highpointers club, which plans to climb to the highest point in each of the 50 states. He had earlier climbed such mountains as Mount Whitney in California, Mount Elbert in Colorado, and Mount Rainier in Washington state.
