Sirius and Sears Join Forces
NEW YORK -- Sirius Satellite Radio today announced a signed agreement with Sears, Roebuck and Co. to make the company a national retailer of Sirius Satellite Radio.
According to a statement by the company, Sirius will begin installing listening stations in approximately 850 Sears locations across the country as early as today, with the goal of being finished by August 30th. Additionally a company spokes person said that Sears will sell the service at the same $12.95 subscription as other retailers. Sears is selling satellite radio-ready hardware manufactured by Kenwood.
