Six Join CEA's Board of Industry Leaders
The Consumer Electronics Association announced the appointment of six new members of the Bureau of Industry Leaders. Chairman Daniel Pidgeon of Starpower announced the appointees.
The new members are: Craig Birmingham of Ingram Micro, Henry Chiarelli of Gibson Brands, Ximena Hartsock of Phone2Action, Carmichael Roberts of MC10, Sean Stapleton of Warrentech and Fred Towns of New Age Electronics.
“I am thrilled that CEA is forward-thinking in welcoming diversity in companies, services, demographics and talent,” Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA, said in a statement. “CEA’s membership base and leadership continues to expand to include non-traditional technology companies, reflecting the expansion and increasing diversity of the entire consumer electronics (CE) industry. The guidance of these new members will provide unique and valuable insight as CEA continues our mission to grow the CE industry.”
