New CEO For Skullcandy
Skullcandy said Friday that CEO Rick Alden has resigned, and been replaced by Jeremy Andrus.
Alden founded the company in 2003 and had been its CEO ever since. Andrus was most recently chief operating officer and has been with the company since 2005.
"Rick developed his inspiration for Skullcandy on a chairlift in Park City and has worked tirelessly to create and establish the Skullcandy brand," Chairman Jeff Kearl said in a statement. "I support Rick's decision and would like to thank him for his hard work and leadership. Skullcandy has always looked at change as an opportunity, and this marks a new chapter for the company."
