What's a good way to merchandise accessories?
One is proximity. If it's in a physical store, you need to have the accessory in proximity [to hardware]. You can't have a dedicated accessory section. You can't force the guy who's buying a camcorder to go to the other side of the store to get the bag.
Recommending accessories with retail tagging [is another way to sell them]. Recommend a case, recommend the battery, the replacement battery [on the tag itself]. If you have your shelf tagged with a product description, it's a self sell for a consumer.
