Smart Energy Summit: A Q&A with Parks Associates President Stuart Sikes
This week, down in Austin, Texas, Parks Associates brought together more than 300 executives from the energy, service provider, and other IoT-related segments to discuss opportunities to work together through the proliferation of smart home technology. The eighth annual Smart Energy Summit was put on with the goal of creating strategies for energy providers and other IoT companies to deal with competition, new revenue opportunities, and how to create and expand customer engagement around energy-related solutions, Parks explained in a statement.
While the event was unfolding, Dealerscope had the opportunity to get a few questions in with Parks Associates President Stuart Sikes. We took the chance to ask Stuart about this year’s event, how the Smart Energy Summit has grown, and what role the consumer electronics retailer can play in this smart energy space.
