HoMedics, a major distributor of health, wellness, home entertainment, lifestyle, and consumer electronics products, has added Sol Republic—a San Francisco-based audio manufacturer—to its lineup of audio brands. HoMedics currently represents a number of successful audio brands including JAM Audio, HDXM, and House of Marley.
Sol Republic, founded by Kevin Lee—who was also instrumental in the success of the Beats brand—will “enhance the HoMedics audio family” with a different attitude and demographic, the company said. Lee will join the HoMedics leadership team and oversee marketing and communications.
“Sol Republic and its lineup of audio products is an ideal fit for HoMedics’ wireless audio family. This is an opportunity to add a powerful, quality brand and grow it with the global resources that HoMedics offers,” Alon Kaufman, Chief Executive Officer of HoMedics, said in a statement.
