Sony 1000XM3 Sets New Standard for Noise Cancelling Headphones at IFA 2018
Sony has come out swinging at IFA 2018 with their 1000XM3 model - an update to their line of noise-canceling headphones that showcases why they are the industry standard.
It has been widely accepted that Sony's line of 1000X line has always been good, if not great, but industry stalwart Bose has seemingly captured most of the otherwise niche noise-canceling headphone market with their long-standing QuietComfort 35. But that story has shifted as the Sony 1000XM3 launched at IFA 2018 with a new design, USB-C standard, and bar-none incredible noise canceling capabilities.
What stands out with the Sony 1000XM3 is its completely revamped noise-canceling hardware. Their new QN1 chip does a lot of the heavy lifting, weighing in at "four times better performance" over previous generations according to Sony representatives.
